so I was thinking...how random that C was talking about bananas in her post today while I am enjoying another piece of my fine banana bread. it really did turn out quite delicious....especially heated with a small slab of melted butter. why is butter so delicious?
outside of that, the most random conversation ever today during lunch. with a co-worker. a male co-worker, mind you. somehow it came up that women who live together end up with the same.....cycle. yes. now most men would steer the conversation in a different direction, but no, not this one. instead he proceeds to actually try to answer my "thinking out loud" of why that exactly happens. his theory is that in the days of tribes, it would be much easier if all the women had "it" at the same time, so they could move together and not leave trails....because there is a smell. Yes, mortifying. Yes, embarrassing. Yes, so I've learned....NEVER, EVER bring up anything related to the nature of the human body with a guy who is a member of mensa because he will actually ponder the evolutionary nature and make you feel sorry you asked and lead you to blatently change the subject. anyway, yes, i'd say that is my story for the day. alarming.
