There was a taxi strike today and I encountered a little bit more subway congestion than usual.
Although I’m really happy that I no longer drive to work, I would just like to say that two of my bigger pet peeves in the world of commuting are 1) people who get in the revolving door and don’t push (ESPECIALLY if it’s a guy). Sometimes there are those kind souls like a friend of mine who will actually start the door spinning for you, let you get in first, and then push behind you. That is the best. 2) Pet peeve =people who think the stairs are going to climb themselves. You know them, they are slow as Sh*t. They have CHOSEN to climb those stairs vs. taking the escalator, so you have to do the work baby! Or they get near the top of the walking lane on the escalator and stop to just ride off. (Sometimes causing a minor pile up behind them). This is just wrong.
In other news, to the Cleaveland fan that I have been taking abuse from...eat your heart out.
