Owww

Today I kicked a Taxi. NY cabbies are always trying to cut the corners as close as they can. In fact, a friend of ours even recently had his foot run over. For example when you have a little white man (=walk sign) and a taxi is making a left, they like too measure out every beat of your step and get just close enough to your leg to scare the crap out of you, but not enough to hit you as they turn by, whether it be in front or behind you. So if you broke your stride or tripped, your leg would be toast. I just don’t appreciate this. So if I feel there is little chance of retaliation, I kick their cab as they go by. Sometimes it hurts my foot, but always makes me feel a bit better.
