This is a great time of year in NYC when there are baseball playoffs, football, rugby world cup and even hockey has started up. The bars are loaded up with all kinds of sports fans and lots of cute guys hanging out and watching the games. It’s always even more exciting when the Yankees play the Red Sox but by the looks of it the Yankees may get wiped out early on (yippee!). And since the Mets blew it this year, it’s what we have to look forward to.
What I do want to know is why is it so hot!? This humidity is destroying my hair and I want to wear fall clothes. I even bought a cute new coat that is dying to make an appearance. I could not bear 1 more winter in my NYC "uniform" the legendary puffy coat with the furry hood that EVERYONE has, even some of the guys now. Don't get me wrong, that coat is warm and I loved it but maybe its years of catholic school uniforms that make me feel like I am going to burn a whole through the coat and combust if I have to wear it one more day.
